MY FIRST LOVE:
Black & White Film photography is the "MEDIUM of LIGHT".
When you mix daylight with chemistry it develops into a love affair...
MY PASSION:
In early 2011, I rekindled my passion for B/W photography; I unpacked, dusted off, powered up my trusty film cameras, and imported Kodak & Ilford 135mm stock. I now venture off without my digital gear in pursuit of the superior skill required when shooting on B/W Film. At last, the pulse of analogue photography courses through my veins -it's good, familiar, intimate; I'm in love again...
And, to quote John Steinbeck, "The camera need not be a cold mechanical device. Like the pen, it is as good as the man who uses it. It can be the extension of heart and mind."
MY WORK:
Projects bearing 'THE ARTIST' in the title are shot on B/W Film, wet-lab processed, where limited edition handprints are exhibited locally plus, Milan, Italy.
