What emails am I signing up to when I join Creativepool?
By confirming your email address and creating a profile on Creativepool, you are agreeing to receive a number of emails from us which allow us to provide our services to you.These include emails with relevant job alerts based on the skills you add to your profile, notification emails alerting you to followers and connections on the platform, emails which tell you about exclusive events, competitions, promotions, products and news within the creative industry, and emails from our carefully selected third party organisations. By default, your profile is automatically made public and searchable on the internet. You can edit all of these settings in your privacy preferences.
How do I change what emails Creativepool sends me?
You have complete control over what emails that you receive from us and what details that we hold about you.
1. Login to your account
2. Hover over your profile image (top right on desktop)
3. Click on "Profile Settings" in the menu.
4. Navigate to Privacy.
From here you can update all of the emails that we send to you. Ticked items mean you will not receive the email
I don't have a login and want to stop receiving emails. Help!
If you do not have a login for Creativepool and would like to stop receiving emails from us, there should be an "unsubscribe" option at the bottom of every communication we send out.
If you are still receiving emails please send an email to Support and we can look into what the issue is.
I'm not looking for a job right now. How can I show this on my profile?
Not all of our members use Creativepool to find jobs. If this is the case for you, you can show yourself as unavailable.
Once your profile is set to unavailable it will look like this.
Can I hide my profile from search engines like Google?
If you don't want your profile to be visible to search engines you can change your visibility settings.
Can I hide my name?
Fancy yourself as a Banksy and want to keep things anonymous? You can choose to hide your full name so that anyone that finds your profile will be unaware that it's you.

Can I hide my contact details?
You can both hide your contact details and prevent people from contacting through the site. However we do not recommend this as the main reason for being a part of Creativepool is to make connections.

How do I stop people from being able to contact me through Creativepool?
The settings to stop people from contacting you are the same as the settings for who can see your contact details.
Who can find my CV/Resume?
When you upload a CV/Resume it can be downloaded by 'Anyone' however this means that companies that have purchased Talent Search are able to download.
You can quickly and easily change this setting in your Privacy preferences.
From here you can choose who can download your CV from
If you select Nobody, recruiting companies will no longer be able to download your CV.
How do I whitelist Creativepool Emails?
If you are finding you are missing out on our emails as they are being delivered to your spam or promotions folder then you can whitelist them to make sure that you don't miss any messages from employers or clients. We have put together a page that will show you how you can whitelist emails that for as many email clients as we could think of.
How do I delete my profile
If you'd like to completely remove your account visit your privacy page.
On this page there is a Leave Creativepool entirely button. This will remove everything that we have recorded for you on the platform and is not recoverable. You will loose all messages, work and any connections on the platform.
We'd be grateful for any feedback as to why you have decided to delete your account and hope to see you back soon.
