Last Chance to Enter The 6th Annual Lovie Awards

Published by

The Lovie Awards is the only truly pan-European award to honour the full breadth of the Internet including Websites, Online Advertising, Internet Video, Mobile and Apps and Social. The Extended Entry Deadline is 29 July 2016 at lovieawards.eu. Finalists are announced in September 2016, and Winners in October 2016 followed up with a celebration in London.

Entrants compete not only to win a Lovie Award and The People’s Lovie Award (fan favourite), but to deliver their Declaration of Lovie Acceptance Speech, following in the footsteps of past winners including Impossible.com’s Lily Cole, Jamie Oliver, Stephen Fry, Kung Fury’s David Sandberg, The European Space Agency for their Rosetta Mission, Björk, French artist JR, and ARM Inventor Sophie Wilson.

The 6th Annual Call for Entries features a select group of new Lovie Award categories, including a Branded Entertainment suite, Virtual Reality (in General Video & Branded Entertainment), Health & Fitness (in Mobile & Applications), Humour (in Social) and Brand Strategy (in Online Advertising Campaigns), and more.

All work is judged by Academy members representing Europe’s best and brightest in digital including actor Stephen Fry, musician Imogen Heap, Dan Howell (danisnotonfire), Chester Chipperfield (Special Projects, Apple), Alexander Ljung (Founder and CEO, SoundCloud), Elke Klinkhammer (Chief Creative Officer, McCann Worldgroup, Germany), Jane Gorley (Creative Director, Style.com), Mel Exon (Managing Director, BBH London), and Corinne Vigreux (Co-Founder, TomTom).

The Lovie Awards was created in 2011 to specifically honour the outstanding online work made for the European audience, taking into account local market differences. To do so, work is accepted and judged in seven native languages: Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Swedish.

Visit lovieawards.eu for a full list of categories and judges for The 6th Annual Lovie Awards, and enter by the Extended Entry Deadline on Friday29 July 2016
