Leo Burnett named the most awarded network at this year's ANDY Awards for the 5th year running

Published by

At the 50th annual International ANDY Awards last week, Leo Burnett Worldwide won big, picking up 10 wins (four Golds, 4 Silvers, and 2 Bronzes) and being named the most awarded network of the year for the fifth consecutive year. This year's ceremony (organised by the Advertising Club of New York) was focused on 'bravery', and celebrated “Courageous and inventive cases of bravery in the industry today and over the past five decades.” As well as being named the most awarded network at the ANDYs, Leo Burnett has also received "Network of the Year" nods from the ADC Awards and the MENA Cristal Festival.

This year's ceremony celebrated “Courageous and inventive cases of bravery in the industry today and over the past five decades.”

According to Advertising Club president and CEP Gina Grillo, Leo Burnett are regular winners for a reason. She said that Leo Burnett has “Consistently ranked highly among the most awarded agency networks by the ANDY Awards over the past 50 years,” and that this year is no different. She said the club's esteemed global jury were “Incredibly impressed by the agency's inventive, creative work across multiple categories.” She also believes that Leo Burnett perfectly embody the 50th anniversary show's “Be brave” mantra thanks to the bravery they show in the creative process.

“The ANDYs is the toughest international advertising show,” Mark Tutssel, Leo Burnett CCO

This year's ANDY Awards recognised noteworthy talent who sit at the forefront of digital and technology, and at the helm of the advertising business. Mark Tutssel, Leo Burnett Worldwide's chief creative officer, believes that the ANDYs is “The toughest international advertising show,” which means that he finds the achievement even more humbling. “Being named 'Network of the Year' for the fifth year running is of course very gratifying,” he said, “And I'm remarkably proud of our network's commitment to bold and audacious creativity.”
