We are DICE, the award-winning studio with locations in Stockholm and Gothenburg, Sweden, best known for creating the phenomenally successful Battlefield franchise.

We are now part of a set of global studios building a connected Battlefield universe, focused on Battlefield's one-of-a-kind multiplayer suite, with teams also part of the development of a single-player narrative campaign.

Our incoming Creative Director will report to our Senior Producer. You will set the artistic and creative vision for our games, serving as a beacon of inspiration for the team, ensuring alignment with the game's core philosophies.

Responsibilities:

  • You will define and establish the project's creative vision.
  • Collaborates and manages with the director's team to ensure alignment and delivery on the project's vision, throughout development.
  • Sets up and leads Director level alignment meetings for the content creation and design craft directors on the project.
  • Acts as the ultimate authority for resolving creative and vision disputes.
  • Coordinates with other departments to formulate new concepts and proposals.
  • You will work closely with project directors on gameplay direction.
  • Represents the team at executive meetings and milestone presentations.
  • Reviews and approves all creative work for the project.
  • Mediates conflicts and provides clear direction for critical project decisions.
  • Ultimately responsible for establishing the Creative Direction that guides each project segment, such as multiplayer, single player, and live, while also serving as the liaison across various departments.
  • You will ensure that the creative vision is well documented, communicated, and understood by both internal and external partners.
  • Participates in performance review sessions, providing feedback on personal growth, performance and skill development.
  • Organizes and evaluates Director Level game reviews

 Required Experience:

  • An experienced expert with a rich background in game development in the FPS genre and AAA segment of the market.
  • Possess excellent skills in creating and communicating a creative vision.
  • Adapts the vision based on input from our specialists to ensure our game is outstanding.
  • Exceptional organization, documentation skills communication skillset
  • Inspire others, acting as a mentor and role model.
