About me
Having graduated with a BA in Architectural Design, I relocated from my native country, the Netherlands, to London. Initially starting as an interior architect, I eventually found my metier in the strategic and account management side of agency life. Over the past two decades I have worked at top London agencies including: Fitch, Brandhouse and Pearlfisher, before joining Williams Murray Hamm in 2008.
As WMH&I's Director of Growth, I lead the strategic direction of the business, setting out the positioning of the agency, identify key growth areas, find new and develop existing pillar clients, such as Castrol, Pernod Ricard and HONOR. I am also board director of BRANDED, a £20m turnover brand creation and implementation agency, and the parent of WMH&I.
In spite of all this, I have never lost my interest in architecture - you can follow @black_rimmed on Instagram for some riveting building porn. And I am a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
