About me

Subhajit Mukherjee is a music composer based out of Mumbai, India. He began his career as the lead vocalist and composer of a Rock band in Kolkata.

But his love for scoring music for advertising films made him shift his base to Mumbai in 2012. From 2014 he started working as an independent Music Composer in the Indian Advertising industry and since then he has worked on the films of many prestigious brands like Coca-Cola, Vodafone, Maruti Suzuki, Honda, KIA Motors, Madhya Pradesh Tourism, Cadburys, Royal Enfield, Skoda, Titan, IKEA etc.

His track for Madhya Pradesh Tourism Toys Film earned him a D&AD Graphite Pencil in the Use Of Original Music Category in 2018.

Between 2018 and 2019 he won a Silver Cannes Lion, Silver Clio, Bronze LIA and One Show Merit Award in the Use Of Original Music Category, for Madhya Pradesh Tourism Photograph Film.

He had composed the track for the launch film of KIA

Motors in India which is regarded as one of the most significant tracks in Modern Indian advertising.

In 2023 he again got a shortlist at Cannes Lion Festival Of Creativity for the ACKO Loves Mumbai film.

In 2023 he won a One Asia Merit Award and in 2024 he won 1 Spikes Asia Gold and 1 ADFEST Gold and 2 ADFEST Finalist award for EXIDE - The Moving Canvas Film.

He earned 2 Shortlists at D&AD 2024 for Coca Cola- The Real Magic Of Pujo and Exide The Moving Canvas in Original Music and Audio Composition categories respectively.

He also won a Bronze Clio, LIA Silver, Shots APAC Silver, in 2024 for The Real Magic Of Pujo in the Use Of Original Music category.

In India till now he has won 5 Kyoorius Blue Elephants and 10 Baby Elephants for Use of Music. And also 1 Gold Abby, 4 Silver Abbys and 5 Bronze Abbys for Use of Music.
