About me
Paulo Oliveira is a Portuguese-born Creative Director based in Düsseldorf, with over 15 years of experience using ideas, craft, visual storytelling and digital culture to create work that connects brands with people. Across Portugal and Germany, he has worked for clients including Porsche, Samsung, Siemens, easyJet, SunExpress, Aldi, Milka, Cadbury, Kanzi Apples, Bayer, Zeiss, UNICEF, Commerzbank and the NFL.
His work moves between advertising, branding, social content, integrated campaigns, design systems, film, activation and AI-powered creative workflows. From social-first brand platforms like ALDI Original to emotional storytelling for easyJet's First Flight, recruitment campaigns for Commerzbank and purpose-led work for Skate-aid, Paulo focuses on finding the one true thing in a brief and turning it into work that feels clear, human and culturally relevant.
As a Creative Director, he combines strategic thinking with hands-on craft, staying close to the idea from the first concept to the final frame. He is especially interested in how creativity, social behaviour, technology and AI can help teams move faster without losing judgement, taste or originality.
Currently based in Düsseldorf, Paulo works across creative direction, branding, campaigns, social content and AI-driven creative development, helping brands create work that is sharp enough for the feed and strong enough to become a platform.
