About me

Variety is the spice of life, so the saying goes, and the same can be said of ones work. I count myself very fortunate to have the skillset to be able to work on a variety of different productions.
I am as happy doing a multi camera live event , or a single camera commercial, as I am building a special hidden camera for a documentary or a hidden camera show. I enjoy lighting different sets and take real pride in all my work.
After 30 years as a DoP and Cameraman, with a variety of skill sets, my passion and drive on all the projects I work on remains the same as it was on my first production. I am a team player adept at working with Execs, producers and directors to providing maximum on-screen production value. I am a collaborative and supportive team player with excellent personal skills and sound judgement but I am just as happy working alone as I am working with a team.
I started my career in News for the American TV Networks, ABC and NBC. This migrated to higher end magazine shows, special events and documentaries. Some of my early documentary work demanded some hidden camera requirements, which led to a request for me to facilitate a revolutionary new TV series called 'Scariest places on Earth' for the Fox Network. As one of the world's first rig shows which required over 30 cameras, including 20 miniature cameras and miniature remote camera heads. This successful production laid the foundation for a long career in minicamera, hidden camera and remote camera productions.

Not forgetting my roots, my work is now roughly split between conventional DoP/Camera Operation and minicam/remote camera work.
