Getting found on Creativepool

Published

The 'Profile Search Criteria' you set up for your profile is a great way to get your Creativepool profile found and stand out from the crowd!

The main purpose of the profile search criteria is to provide the website with key information which is then fed through to your actual portfolio on the site. This can then be read by prospective employers which is why it is so important to make sure that the information you provide is the best it can be. To access the profile search criteria section of your Creativepool portfolio follow the following steps

  • Log-in to your profile
  • Click on 'setup your profile to be found by companies and recruiters'
  • Under 'profile searchable criteria' click 'edit'

The key thing to remember when filling in this section is to be as specific as possible. This rule particularly applies to three mina areas of the search criteria; desired job, desired location and desired salary.

For the desired jobs and locations we recommend that you do not select the options that are followed by '(all jobs)' or '(all locations)'. It is much better to specifically select one particular job type and one particular location that apply most directly to you. When selecting the salary option, we recommend that you choose  narrow range. A wide ranging salary range can leave employers unsure as to what particular level of employment you are seeking.

It is also a good idea to make sure that the details you fill in here are kept as up-to-date as possible. Keeping the details in the profile search criteria as specific, narrowed-down and as up-to-date as possible will increase your chances of finding the job role that is perfect for you.
