VCCP Partnership scoops IAB’s Agency of the Year award

VCCP Partnership has been awarded the Internet Advertising Bureau’s (IAB) Creative Showcase Grand Prix to become Agency of the Year.

The agency scooped the award after receiving the most honours for outstanding digital campaigns throughout 2013, appearing in seven of the 12 monthly IAB Creative Showcases for a range of work including its ‘O2 Matchday’ app and the career coaching web series ‘The Job Academy’ for Totaljobs.com.

The agency also picked up an award for Best Creative Idea for its comparethemarket.com ‘Meerkat Tales’ work, which saw a live reading and interactive Q&A from Aleksander the Meerkat himself, both at Harrods and live on This Morning.

Jim Capp, Digital Creative Director, VCCP, says: “The win is testament to the drive and ambition of the agency to create innovative and sharable campaigns that not only transform our clients’ business but also get talked about down the pub.”

Other campaigns honoured include: O2 ‘Be more dog’, O2 ‘Go think big’, Coors Light ‘Ice Cold indicator’ and Gatwick Express’ ‘Express tracks’.

VCCP was presented with the awards on the evening of Thursday 20th February at the IAB’s office in Macklin Street.

This win follows a year in which VCCP also picked up Campaign’s Advertising Agency of the Year and Campaign of the Year for O2 ‘Be more dog’.
