Uber CEO apologises for mistakes in wake of London ban

Uber’s CEO has swallowed his pride and apologised in the wake of the controversial decision by Transport for London to not renew the ride-sharing app's licence when it expires this Saturday (September 30). The apology comes as CEO Dara Khosrowshahi and his team battle the decision, which was apparently made by TfL as they felt that Uber was not a “fit and proper” private car-hire operator, citing four areas of concern, including its approach to reporting criminal offences and
