Mac Macdonald, the President and Partner at Sid Lee Amsterdam, has been appointed the Group CEO at Start Group, the independent global network formerly known as Start JudgeGill. Based in London, he will focus initially on developing fresh opportunities for the agencies it owns a stake in, which include the Shoreditch-based Hometown, Discovery Partners (destination and tourism marketing), Connected Retail (digital smart store platforms), and Breed (worldwide artist representation and management).
