Apple adds new emoji library

Global tech giant Apple has introduced more than 70 new emoji designs to its range with the new iOS 12.1 update.

The animated images will be brought to iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac, including new characters with red, grey and curly hair, a new emoji for bald people, more emotive smiley faces and additional emoji representing animals, sports and food.

Emoji have become a key way for people to communicate through messaging on smartphones and beyond. iOS 12.1 brings even more characters to the keyboard
