Use the code Pool21 at checkout to obtain a 25% discount on Festival Passes!

The UK Creative Festival 2021 will launch this summer at Dreamland, Margate. Taking place over three days (September 8th,9th,10th) the festival will celebrate the best of the UK Creative Industries with a programme of talks, workshops, panels, wellness activities, and social events designed to connect, educate, and inspire.

Powered by the 'creative community of today, for the creative community of tomorrow’ the UK Creative Festival is dedicated to helping establish a more diverse and representative workforce. The free-to-access careers fair will promote the creative industries to aspiring young creatives and hope to encourage young people to take their first foray into the industry.

The festival will also host the annual Creative Circle Awards, as the UK’s oldest advertising awards body celebrates their 76th anniversary by finding a new home to showcase great ideas, fresh thinking, and craft, marking the first time the Awards have moved out of London.

All Creativepool members can obtain 25% off their Festival Passes by applying the code Pool21 at checkout

Confirmed Festival speakers so far include acclaimed actor, writer, director, and producer Simon Pegg, Uncommon Founder Nils Leonard, Havas CCO Vicki Maguire, Leo Burnett CCO Chaka Sobhani, TBWA CCO Peter Souter, Former Head of 4Creative, Alice Tonge, the Ridley Scott Creative Group’s Kai Hsiung, and creative leaders from media, film, production, and post-production (full list at end of release).

“From class clowns to the quiet one in the corner ... mainstream education and creativity have never been a great fit…. until now. The festival aims to show those un-studenty students that there’s an industry that not only welcomes outsiders, it allows them to thrive.” said Vicki Maguire, CCO, Havas.

“We wanted to create a unique event dedicated to improving representation within the creative industries, not just at the highest level or even at entry level, but where it counts with aspiring young creatives” said Jeremy Green, CEO UK Creative Festival. “Most importantly we want to make this accessible to everyone, and we’re looking forward to working with national and regional youth organisations.”

“We are thrilled to support the festival and we’re excited to see it come to life this year. This is set to be one of the biggest creative events of the year in the UK, and we are privileged to see it come to life on the Kent coast.” added Eddie Kemsley, CEO, Dreamland Margate.
