INITION has partnered with 3D Systems Quickparts (formally CRDM) for a series of seminars titled Positive Disruption: 3D Printing Now to discuss the current and future state of 3D printing and Additive Manufacturing (AM), with a look at the creative and technical capabilities of the field and its wide and varied array of applications across multiple sectors.
On the 25th June, 29th July and 9th September between 12 - 1:30pm, INITION, together with Simon Hammond from 3D Systems Quickparts, invite guests to our Shoreditch Demo Studio for a session of discussions, demonstrations and a look at some of the best printer models currently available and the range of materials offered.
Included in the presentation is the exploration of the diverse ways that 3D printing can be creatively employed alongside other technologies such as 3D scanning, haptics and augmented reality, delivering truly innovative solutions to business problems.
3D Systems Quickparts' Simon Hammond will cover the more technical aspects of the field, including which materials can be used and the comparative cost difference between 3D printing and traditional mass production manufacturing. With myriad examples on display and a series of broad sector case studies to draw upon, guests will gain insight into the versatility of the technology and its capabilities.
