designjunction spotlight 2016: Pete Thomas of Tom Pigeon

Published by

Following on from our Poolcast series at designjunction, we caught up with Pete Thomas, one half of design duo Tom Pigeon. Pete runs the studio with his wife Kirsty Thomas. They met in the early 90s when they were working across a variety of design disciplines, but now at Tom Pigeon they specialize in prints, jewelry and stationary from their studio in Fife, Scotland. We’re been particularly drawn to their latest Béton collection, and can't wait to see more now they plan to be doing more 'art pieces' in the new year.

designjunction has grown immensely this year with the formal announcement of a brand new hub for creativity in the heart of kings cross - #KXCQ. For London Design Festival, more than 200 contemporary brands, designers, and studios, take home to the area near UAL to come alive with a theme that’s all about immersive design.
