The Cream Awards focus on talent in the Midlands and recognise the work being produced in the region by bringing agencies into the spotlight. This week the Cream Midlands 2014 finalists were revealed; Big Communications, Chapter, Cogent Elliott, McCann Erickson and Bray Leino are just some of the names shortlisted this year. With categories including Art Direction, Best Use of Typography, Advert on a Mobile Medium, Press Campaign, Packaging, Animation and many more, this year’s awards sees some great agencies and campaigns in the running to win big at November’s awards ceremony.

Judged by creative chiefs from Lida, ViVid, Thinking Juice, Equator and Whitespace last week, the Cream Awards looks to shine a light on the great work being produced by the regions. Big Communications is the most nominated this year for Boost Energy Drinks, Harley-Davidson, Always a Chance and WKD projects to name a few – and Cogent Elliot for its work including Stop HS2, Warwickshire Beer Company and Staffordshire Retired Police Dogs Fund campaigns.
