How long have you been a Freelancer for?
I've been a freelance illustrator for a couple of years.

Describe your work in one sentence.
Striking conceptual illustration with a hand-printed aesthetic.

Who are some of the clients you have worked for?
My recent clients include Google, V&A, Sunday Telegraph, WIRED, Easyjet, Toyota, Virgin, Ted Baker and Gulf Life Magazine.

What's the most important thing you've learned in your line of work?
Don't worry what other illustrators are doing and concentrate on your own work/ideas.

What attracted you to your chosen field?
The variety of work, the opportunity for conceptual thinking and getting to make images for a living!

Tell us about your best project to date.
I just did 26 images for a massive blue chip company who shall remain secret. I'm really looking forward to seeing them start popping up in the real world!

What sets you apart from your competitors?
Hopefully my style and ideas.

If you could work on any project for any company/organisation, what would it be and who would it be for?
I'd love to do a book cover for Penguin.

What frustrates you the most about your job?
Chasing invoices.

What pearl of wisdom can you offer to someone thinking about starting out as a freelancer?
That you really have to be happy working alone and be able to motivate yourself.

If you could have ONE super power, what would it be?
Time travel.

What's your favourite bit of kit?
My iMac

I often dream that all my teeth are falling out.

Starry Night by Don Mclean.
