Tell us what you do for a living and who you work for?
Head of Design, Future Media and Technology at Channel 4 Television.

What does that involve?
I'm responsible for designing the Interface user experience on Channel 4's New Media platforms. I work with an internal team and external design agencies.

How did you get started in the industry?
From fine art degree to print designer to freelance web designer to art director to now.

What would you be doing if you weren't doing that?
Probably landscape gardening.

What's your all-time favourite piece of creative work?
Body decoration of New Guinean or African tribes-people.

What do you love about your job?
It's busy, it's creative, it's challenging and I can cycle to get there.

What do you hate about your job?
Internal politics.
