Tell us what you do for a living and who you work for?
I'm Executive Creative Director of Teamspirit.

What does that involve?
Managing a department of creative teams, designers, artworkers and digital people, writing ads and mailshots and online things, being very fast, meetings, meetings, meetings and some very nice people.

How did you get started in the industry?
I went to Watford College to study copywriting, then hawked my book around time until BMP gave me and my partner our first break in 1987.

What would you be doing if you weren't doing that?
I'd like to think I'd be a pop star (that was the original plan) but probably something similar, like journalism.

What's your all-time favourite piece of creative work?
Sony Trinitron advert.

What do you love about your job?
Ideas and variety.

What do you hate about your job?
Naysayers, cynicism and lack of balls.
