Current venture: I've created a YouTube channel for aspiring creatives to help them break in to the advertising industry. Search Open Door Creative on YouTube and check it out!
What To Know:
I am an Associate Creative Director/Idea Guy. I love the who-knows-how-late-we-will-be-up-tonight process of coming up with the BIG IDEA and creating things that haven't been done before.
Why I'm Qualified:
I graduated in May 2012 from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor's degree in Advertising through the Texas Creative sequence with Business Foundations from the McCombs School of Business. I started at Screamer Co., a small agency in the heart of Austin that opened my eyes to every aspect of the business from strategy to production. I quickly elevated my skill-sets, became the head of the art department, and took home 8 awards (predominately in healthcare). After 3 years, it was time for a change of scenery as I decided to join a larger shop. I made the move to Dallas and have been working the past couple years on the Samsung and Audi accounts at TracyLocke. I'm passionate about what I do and strive to improve my craft every day.
I've worked for clients in a broad range of industries from technology and healthcare to food service and real estate. Notable clients include Samsung, Audi, Pepsi, Pizza Hut, NASA, IKEA, Brookfield Residential, Austin Chamber, UFCU, Seton Healthcare, Dell Children's Hospital, Central Health, and Xenex.
