Junior Freelance Designer / Surface Pattern Designer (2-3 Days per Week)
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Freelance Designer / Surface Pattern Designer to join our small, colourful, openminded fun team for 2-3 days per week in our Acton W3 London studio.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of creative projects, supporting the development of our interior collections. You'll assist with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator artwork, help prepare assets for advertising campaigns, and create new surface pattern designs and repeats for wallpapers, cushions, and fabrics, building on our existing artwork.
Key responsibilities:
- Creating and editing artwork using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
- Adapting and developing existing artwork into new product designs and seamless repeats for wallpapers, fabrics, and cushions
- Assisting with the design and preparation of advertising campaign assets
- Preparing artwork for production and ensuring files are print-ready
We're looking for someone who has:
- A strong eye for colour, composition, pattern, and design
- Good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
- An interest in surface pattern design, interiors, textiles, and art
- Creativity, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a small team
Location: West London (W3)
Contract: Freelance, 2-3 days per week
Rate: £150 per day
This is an excellent opportunity for a talented junior designer with a passion for surface pattern design to gain hands-on experience in a creative studio, contributing to brand new beautiful collections of wallpapers, fabrics, cushions, and home accessorie to be launched.
