Lead Producer
Job
We are hiring a Lead Producer to work within our in house studio team. As a Lead Producer, you will join an established team of creatives and content creators, working alongside highly experienced photographers, videographers, art directors, stylists, designers and marketing professionals.
We are the only UK retailer with the ability to create and produce content for global brands in house.
Based out of our purpose built studio at The Sharp Project, this is an exciting role reporting directly to the Head of Creative & Studio.
The Team:
The Studio Team sits within the wider Marketing Department and operates out of The Sharp Project in Manchester. While our physical home is in the studio, we're in constant collaboration with Head Office and the wider business. We work across Footasylum's Own Brands as well as global sportswear and streetwear names.
Every day is different, and the pace is fast. From daily ecomm shoots to large scale campaigns, brand partnerships and retail activations. Our team thrives on creativity, teamwork and a shared passion for the culture we represent.
We're committed to creating content that not only looks great but genuinely connects with our customer.
About you:
We are looking for someone who embodies the Footasylum values of Collaboration, Communication and Challenge.
You are a natural leader, relationship builder and problem solver. You thrive in a fast moving creative environment and have the organisational skills to keep multiple productions moving without compromising quality.
You'll champion creative excellence whilst balancing budgets, timelines and commercial objectives. You'll know how to get the very best from the people around you.
You'll be as comfortable on set as you are in post-production meetings, owning projects from initial brief through to final delivery.
Skills:
• Exceptional organisational and project management skills.
• Experience managing multiple budgets simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of production workflows from pre-production through to final delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience leading and developing production teams.
• Strong knowledge of APA guidelines.
• Proven experience producing shoots in both the UK and internationally.
• A genuine passion for streetwear, youth culture and creative content.
Responsibilities:
• You will own the end-to-end production process from brief through to final delivery.
• You will lead the production team day to day, managing workload, priorities and resource allocation.
• You will build strong relationships across the Marketing Department, acting as a key collaborator between teams.
• You will deliver projects on time, on budget and to the highest creative and production standards.
• You will champion and protect creative ideas whilst balancing commercial objectives and realities of production.
• You will oversee all stages of production, from planning and logistics through to shoot execution, post-production and delivery.
• You will manage multiple budgets, proactively communicating risks, changes and opportunities.
• You will ensure all productions adhere to APA guidelines and business objectives.
• You will coach, mentor and develop the production team, raising standards and building future capability.
• You will identify smarter ways of working, driving efficiencies and continuous improvement across the studio.
• You will lead productions confidently in both the UK and internationally.
Why Footasylum?
We are one of the leading omni-channel retailers across the UK, but more than that we are a brilliant place to work. We value you and your development. We have loads of examples of people moving upwards, across to other departments and given training to excel their personal and professional skills. Our aim is to create a fun environment, where your success is paramount to ours and you are given the right tools, support and platform to achieve your goals.
Diversity:
We recognise and value the importance of diversity to help make sure we have lots of different perspectives when we are building services to customers and the wider business. This is great news for our business. Diversity for us is also, importantly, about building happy teams full of people that want to learn and want to be inspired by each other and our different experiences and backgrounds.
