Are you a creative communicator with a passion for digital marketing? Our client Sussex Police, are seeking a Digital & Marketing Communications Officer to join their dynamic team in Lewes! In this role, you will:

• Create captivating content to support PCC messages and initiatives.
• Manage online communications across our website and social media channels, enhancing public awareness of the PCC's role.
• Engage with the community by encouraging public and partner involvement in OPCC activities.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

• Image Capture/Filming: Film and create videos showcasing the PCC's role alongside Sussex Police and key partners.
• Content Creation: Refresh and upload engaging content for our online platforms.
• Press Releases & Newsletters: Write and distribute informative press notices and weekly newsletters.
• Campaign Management: Help promote community services and events, attending public engagements to gather feedback.
• Evaluation: Assess media reach and online engagement quarterly to guide future strategies.

What We're Looking For:
To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A degree or equivalent in communications, marketing, PR/Public Affairs, or a related field.
• Proficiency in photography and editing software, including DSLR cameras and the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience in creating and managing digital and print assets.
• Excellent writing skills for concise press releases.
• A proactive attitude in using social media to boost engagement and communication strategies.
• You must be able to drive and have access to a private vehicle.
