JOB PURPOSE:

Unilever’s Wellbeing Collective Group brings together a portfolio of high growth health and wellness brands built to help people feel better every day. The group includes a set of category leading brands acquired in the US including OLLY, Liquid I.V., Nutrafol, SmartyPants, Welly and Onnit, as well as Equilibra (Italy). Each brand is distinct in purpose, proposition and culture, yet united by a shared focus on delivering superior consumer experiences across health and wellbeing. We are committed to continuing to grow this strategic business for Unilever by leveraging the full strength of Unilever’s capabilities, including expanding the reach of our portfolio internationally.

We are looking for an Assistant Brand Manager to help supercharge the Wellbeing Collective business. Currently in the UK we have Liquid I.V., a functional hydration brand that has disrupted the market since launching in March 2024, and we are looking to expand our portfolio. Our purpose is to elevate the vitality of people and the planet. An ambitious goal? Yes! The Assistant Brand Manager is responsible for supporting the overall Brand Marketing function, overseeing day-to-day operations, key projects/workstreams and supporting in the development and execution of demand creation projects. This role will be fluent in business performance, a functional hydration category expert, and be a highly organised steward of the brand. This position offers a great opportunity to demonstrate independent leadership and own deliverables. We’re looking for a candidate who can hit the ground running, demonstrate high levels of responsibility, ownership and desire to develop within the exciting and demanding world of functional hydration.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure on-time, flawless execution of brand innovation and marketing programs optimising communication and innovation mixes for the UK market.
• Lead projects with a cross-functional team to deliver against growth and profitability objectives, with attention to detail and ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
• Conduct category, competitive and customer tracking and analysis, bringing insights back to react against and inform brand strategy and tactics.
• Manage marketing budgets, enabling the brand to get the most out of its resources and meet financial targets
• Develop engaging and inspiring brand/sell in presentations for internal and external partners, including range reviews and innovation reviews.
• Engage with agency partners to create bold, disruptive, and unmissable integrated media plans and POS, making our brands stand out online and offline.
• Use data to inform, experiment, refine and drive brand performance.

ALL ABOUT YOU:

• Suitable years of marketing experience, preferably CPG
• Strong analytical skills
• Understanding of digital and social marketing
• Strong understanding of retail environment
• Clear demonstration of project management & leadership skills
• Experience/ability leading cross-functional teams, agencies and media partners
• Proven record of drive and initiative with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to operate in a dynamic and ambiguous environment
• Passion for the health & wellbeing category

NOTES:

In September 2020, Unilever announced the intention to build a new sustainable campus site in Kingston, London to house the employees who currently work in 100 Victoria Embankment in Blackfriars, Lever House in Kingston, Unilever House in Leatherhead and Graze in Richmond. We are creating our own Unilever sustainable, agile work environment, purposefully bringing us together in our own Unilever ecosystem. The campus is due to be completed in early 2025 and will consist of two interconnected buildings, as well as landscaped surrounding areas.
