About me

For more than three decades, I have worked at the intersection of journalism, broadcast operations, technical production and leadership. Throughout my career, I have been drawn to environments where people, technology and creativity come together to make ambitious productions possible.

I began my career in Sarajevo, where I directed national television news during the Siege of Sarajevo. Working under extremely challenging operational conditions profoundly shaped my approach to leadership, teamwork, resilience and problem-solving.

Since then, my work has taken me from Sarajevo to Hilversum, Los Angeles and Doha, as well as to productions and projects across Europe, the Middle East and beyond. Along the way, I have worked with public broadcasters, commercial networks, international news organisations, production companies and multicultural teams in widely different creative and operational environments.

Throughout my career, I have worked on major live broadcasts, international special events, global breaking-news coverage and complex production projects where reliability, teamwork, operational excellence and continuous improvement were essential.

I have led multidisciplinary teams, managed broadcast and production operations, introduced new technologies and contributed to studio, newsroom and workflow transformations. My focus has always been on creating environments in which talented professionals can take responsibility, collaborate effectively and perform at their best.

Sharing knowledge has become an increasingly important part of my work. I have trained and coached directors, producers, journalists and technical specialists, and I value leadership that combines clear direction with trust, professional respect and openness to new ideas.

Today, I am particularly interested in roles where I can bring together operational leadership, technical innovation, international production and the development of people—helping organisations build strong, creative and sustainable production environments.
