About Ian
I'm an experienced UX/UI designer. Put simply I enjoy researching, problem solving, applying suitable UX tasks and realising effective design solutions.
I have covered a broad range of sectors from Automotive, Telecoms, FMCG, Finance, and Lifestyle. Most recently I've been working with Jaguar Land Rover on a large scale vehicle sales project. Before that I worked in the service sector for UK Power Networks to help with an increase in user demand, and with EE, looking into improve on checkout KPIs.
I work transparently and I'm able to adapt my process to fit into most digital teams. My UX process centres around meaningful design - getting something to the market which is desirable yet viable and feasible. I also have a working knowledge of front-end which allows me to liaise with developers effectively. I can lead, organise and mentor other designers effectively if required.
