Hi there, my name is Gavin and I'm a Creative Copywriter. I have more than nine years experience in the industry, and have led strategically and creatively on some of the world's biggest brands such as O2, Amazon Prime and The Times.
I believe we owe it to society to act with purpose. As human beings, as agencies and as brands. Advertising has an incredible power to speak to people, and with that - as the saying goes - comes responsibility. We should lead by example and show a better world... not just a skinnier, shinier, smilier world. Given the choice between doing well and doing good, I know where I stand.
Ultimately, I just want to do cool stuff that I can be proud of.
My background is in journalism, and I worked at TBWA and DDB for five years before going in-house at Betfair. I then moved to Verbalisation for about a year, before joining BBD Perfect Storm, which was recently voted one of the world's top 12 independent agencies by Campaign magazine.
Although I'm a writer by trade, as my career's advanced I've become more and more literate in design, art direction, filming and editing. I'm also pretty good online, with extensive experience across all social platforms, using influencers, SEO optimisation and app development.
