About me
I believe we owe it to society to act with purpose. As human beings, as agencies and as brands. Advertising has an incredible power to speak to people, and with that - as the saying goes - comes incredible responsibility. We should lead by example and show a better world... not just a skinnier, shinier, smilier world. Given the choice between doing well and doing good, I know where I stand.
Ultimately, I just want to do cool stuff that I can be proud of. I'm especially passionate about film, and love producing captivating content that demands to be shared.
My background is in copywriting, and I worked at two big ad agencies for five years before going in-house at Betfair. I then worked at Verbalisation and BBD Perfect Storm, before joining Red Apple Creative in 2018. Unfortunately COVID cut that journey short but I joined Aduro in 2021 as Head of Content, looking after all words, pictures and moving images.
I've led creatively and strategically on some of the world's biggest brands agency-side, in-house and freelance, across virtually every sector, from tech to automotive to FMCG to beauty. Highlights include: Adidas, Netflix, Google Home, Sony Pictures, Smirnoff, Audi, Investec, SKINS, Vitality, Betfair, The Times, Heinz, Jameson, Nationwide, Kuoni, KitKat, MTV, Nescafe, Revlon, Havana Club 7 and O2.
And ethical concerns: WWF (pandas not wrestlers), CALM, Prostate Cancer UK, The Female Lead and Tusk.
I've won awards in every role I've ever held, for craft, creativity and effectiveness.
I've led teams to huge success for more than 10 years now, and love mentoring new talent.
