FCB Inferno

FCB Inferno has hired Elspeth Lynn to join its creative department. She will start in January, working directly with the agency’s clients, which include BMW, Beiersdorf and Sport England, and report to joint Chief Creative Officers Al Young and Owen Lee. Lynss brings 25 years of creative experience to FCB Inferno and the network. She held the position of Executive Creative Director at M&C Saatchi London since 2012, where she led the creative output for a client roster that included Transport for London, SABMiller and Virgin Holidays. Prior to M&C Saatchi, she was Executive Creative Director at digital agency Profero for three years, working with clients that included M&S, ASOS and MINI.

Havas London

Andy Sandoz and Ben Mooge, currently partners of Havas Work Club, have been appointed as joint Executive Creative Directors of Havas London, assuming responsibility for the agency’s entire creative output. The move will see Sandoz (currently President of D&AD) and Mooge report into Europe and UK Group CEO Chris Hirst and sit on the Havas London Executive Board. Sandoz and Mooge have driven creative work that has seen Havas Work Club win both Campaign and Marketing Digital Agency of the Year. Their appointment comes as Hirst assembles a new-look senior leadership team for Havas Creative Group, and follows the appointment of, Mark Sinnock as European and UK CSO, Tracey Barber to Group CMO , Paul Ward as Group Head of Operations and Mark Whelan to CCO.

J. Walter Thompson Sydney

J. Walter Thompson Sydney has announced the hire of Heather Morrison as Senior Integrated Planner. Morrison, who is Canadian, joins the agency from 99 in Auckland where she recently picked up an Effie for New World (NZ grocery retailer). Prior to this, she spent several years at Leo Burnett in Toronto, where she headed up the real time marketing discipline as strategic lead on P&G and Coors Light and helped create a raft of award winning campaigns for Ikea. Morrison will work on a range of established J. Walter Thompson clients including Kellogg’s and Bayer among others.

BBH Singapore

BBH Singapore has welcomed designer and top Singapore photographer Aik Beng Chia to the agency. Otherwise known as “ABC,” Aik Beng began his career as a graphic artist and illustrator and then turned his attention to street photography, capturing images of the everyday to the bizarre of Singapore life. He has since been hailed as one of Singapore’s foremost street photographers and most popular instagrammers, with a robust following of over 20,000. Beng is also the author of the live “Singkarpor” series, with thousands of photos carefully curated and updated regularly on his website.

BBH Asia Pacific has welcomed designer and top Singapore photographer Aik Beng Chia (ABC) to the agency

Big Spaceship

Big Spaceship has announced two new senior appointments meant to continue strengthening the agency’s client service and strategy teams. This comes of the heels of significant growth for the shop and the addition of several new executive roles over the last year. Appointments include Laura Breines, who joins the agency as Vice President, Director of Client Services and Duncan Snowden, who has been promoted to VP, Strategy. Snowden has served as Group Strategy Director at Big Spaceship for nearly three years. Starting immediately, Breines will report to the agency's managing director Rob Thorsen and will be responsible for a portfolio of business at the agency, as well as for the growth and development of the client services discipline. As for Snowden, with this promotion, his role will evolve to also include more responsibility for advancing the strategy discipline at Big Spaceship.

Geometry Global North America has announced the appointment of Tim Ferguson to Senior Vice President, Relationship Marketing Practice Lead. Tim will be responsible for leading Geometry’s New York relationship marketing group as well as leading a team of ‘1:1’ marketing professionals throughout multiple offices in North America and across Geometry’s diverse client portfolio. Prior to joining Geometry Global, Tim served in various direct marketing leadership roles in North America and Asia. Most recently, he served as a member of the Client Partner team within the Health vertical at Merkle Inc. Ferguson began his career at OgilvyOne, where he supported a broad range of industries from automotive to technology and pharmaceuticals. His work with clients included designing segmentation strategies, building integrated B2B and B2C campaigns, developing loyalty programs and guiding the global expansion of digital marketing programs.

Firstborn has promoted a top executive from within and has welcomed two new hires this week. Six-year Firstborn veteran, Kristin Keefe, has been promoted to the role of SVP, Production & Program Management. In her new position, Kristin will be responsible for reshaping the agency's approach to client relations while managing its team of agency producers and program managers. Her promotion comes following a year of marked success for Firstborn, adding new accounts like Vonage, Supercell and the Aspen Institute and developing effective digital products and campaigns for its current roster of clients including: HBO, Patrón, Audible, Kiehl's and Mountain Dew. Kristin will continue to serve on Firstborn's executive leadership team and report into CEO, Dan LaCivita, who said: “It is an amazing feeling to be able to build our leadership team from within, especially when it's someone as dedicated and valued as Kristin. In addition to elevating its in-house talent, Firstborn has also welcomed two new hires to its team. Daniel Viedma has been named Associate Tech Director and Michele Bavitz comes on as Associate Program Director. Viedma will provide technical guidance and oversight of all digital projects to create experiences that seamlessly blur the lines between design, motion and development. He will report into Eric Decker, VP of Technology. Bavitz will work on Firstborn's Mountain Dew and PepsiCo accounts. She will report directly into Kristin Keefe.

Proximity Taiwan

Proximity Taiwan has announced a new senior appointment to their management team. Brenda Wei joins as Digital Director, reporting to Eddy Fu, CEO BBDO and Proximity Taiwan. Wei has over 10 years’ experience in digital marketing, having previously worked for companies including Yahoo!, eSobi, eBay, cacaFly and Asus Digital International. She holds an MBA from the University of Leeds and is a prominent digital marketing leader in Taiwan. Highlights in her career include the recent successful launch of ZenFone’s ADI- ASUS STORE e-commerce platform.

Proximity Taiwan has announced Brenda Wei joins as Digital Director

Brand Arc

Los Angeles-based marketing agency Brand Arc has promoted Jina Yu to the position of account director. Yu currently handles development, planning, creative execution and measurement for all of Brand Arc’s clients and projects. Yu has nearly a decade of experience in the industry. She joined Brand Arc in 2005 and was the fourth employee hired. Prior to joining Brand Arc, Yu worked at a music-publishing firm handling rights and researching artists for potential placements in films and TV shows. She graduated from UCLA with a degree in international economics.

Brand Arc has promoted Jina Yu to the position of account director

BBDO India has promoted Rajesh Sikroria, formally EVP BBDO India, to President BBDO India, effective immediately. One of the founding members of BBDO India, Sikroria started his BBDO journey as the Indian Agency’s first employee, with just one brand, Pepsico’s 7UP. Today he manages the operations for 15 clients across two offices in Delhi and Mumbai as well as client engagement out of Kolkata. Working alongside Josy Paul, BBDO India Chairman and CCO, and Ajai Jhala, BBDO India CEO, Sikroria has been part of the core team that has helped shape BBDO India’s philosophy. With a career spanning almost two decades, he has worked across Publicis, Percept, R K Swamy and JWT where he managed some of India’s largest local and global brands like Nestle, HP, Indian Airlines, Hero Honda, Apollo Tyres and Tata Motors.

BBDO India has promoted former EVP  Rajesh Sikroria to president
