From 22-25 September, designjunction will take over an exciting new location – the entire UAL campus at King’s Cross, London.

Complementing the ever transforming and industrial landscape, designjunction will create a series of striking temporary structures to house this year’s show, as well using existing locations within and around the university building.

*Cubitt House: The trade destination

designjunction will build a custom, double decker structure spanning more than 2,500 square metres to house its trade exhibitors. Working with Satellite Architects, a local firm who specialise in bespoke design-led projects, the structure will be a striking installation in its own right Cubitt House will be home to more than 70 leading design brands and lightjunction, an area dedicated to the very best decorative lighting.

*The Canopy: The retail destination

The Canopy will house the show’s luxury retail exhibitors. Shop from a selection of renowned design labels selling everything from home accessories to cutting-edge tech products. Situated beneath the heritage-protected wrought iron structure, expect The Canopy to have designjunction’s signature industrial aesthetic. The Canopy will house more than 60 luxury pop-up shops and live design demonstrations.

*Granary Square:

Granary Square will be transformed by 12 bespoke red houses, which will play home to installations and live activity. Houzz.co.uk, the leading platform for home design and renovation, is our headline partner for the area, and will be hosting a series of design clinics and activities from their custom coloured ‘Houzz green’ house. Expect 12 purpose built red houses, installations and live activities.

*The Crossing:

Using the entrance of the university itself, designjunction will take over the stunning five-storey central space of the UAL, presenting a range of breath-taking installations and engaging micro exhibitions. Find unexpected installations, registration and information here.
