About me

Dear Sirs,

My name is Zuki Turner and I am a graphic designer/stylist/fashion journalist.

For the last six months I have worked for Asian Interactive Media, where I predominantly worked as a graphic designer across four separate titles including Asian Woman Magazine, which is currently the world's leading Asian fashion magazine. During my time at this company, as well as working on the layouts for the magazines themselves, I was also responsible for reinvigorating the brand identity, with marketing design for various advertisements, including phone box designs and car branding. At this company I also worked as an assistant stylist for the fashion shoots which gave me the unique opportunity to work on the magazine from the initial stages of the shoot, right up to the final production stage of the magazine.

I am proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator, adore working on fashion shoots and am extremely passionate about fashion writing and journalism. I have previously worked as a freelance journalist for a luxurious jewellery magazine in Singapore and have had my written work published in a book called "Fashioning Fabrics" and magazines such as Selvedge and Amelia's Magazine. I am obsessed with learning about up and coming trends and designers and love expressing what I learn through words, and find you can be just as creative with language as you can with a pencil or paintbrush.
