About me

I am a senior design professional with over 10 years experience, gained within agency and in-house design studios. A brand literate, creative thinker with a portfolio covering a wide range of printed material, capable of taking a project from client discussions to completion, and managing a team.

Experience includes:

- 4 years as design manager, running in-house design departments

- Team leadership, management, staff development and appraisals

- Effective project management

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with clients, team members, printers and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

- Financial control, on individual jobs and of the creative department

- Strong understanding of brands and upholding brand guidelines

- Proficient mac skills including Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), quark xpress, acrobat, and preparing graphics for Microsoft Office applications and the web

- Monitoring studio equipment including data back-up systems and job archiving
