Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing in regards to the position you have advertised for Freelance Graphic/Textile Designers with your studio. I have experience in creating artwork for both repeats and placement prints for a variety of printing applications.

Following on from my Masters, I have been employed as a textile/graphic design assistant for Vancouver based fashion designer, Wanny Tang. My previous experience also includes working as a textile studio assistant, creating manual and digital repeat sections for print production standards used in the fashion industry worldwide.

I have five years experience using Adobe Photoshop and I am proficient in Adobe Illustrator, frequently working between both a Mac and PC. I am also confident using most Microsoft Office programs. My practice of design has allowed me to gain a good eye for detail, an insight into commercial trends and the ability to work in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment.
