About me
Zemeka Clarke (Zem Clarke) graduated from University for the Creative Arts (UCA) with an Upper Second Class (2:1) honours degree in Graphic Design. Her degree has allowed her to develop a practice-based approach to the art of visual communication, learning both analogue and digital skills such as typography, moving image and social design, within an encouraging and inspiring environment. She is a visionary in the creative field and has a passion for sport editorials and illustrations.
Accomplishments
2017: Recognition of Illustration design from the 'US Open' Official Instagram page
She was recognised for her illustration design from the 'US Open' Official Instagram page. This was achieved through liaising with members in the US Open to officially provide the Illustration for Serena Williams as she reclaimed her number 1 spot in the 2017 US Open ()
2016: Shortlisted for the Nescafe Competition by Twelve Agency
She collaborated with TWELVE to develop, who developed a campaign for Nescafe Azera. She led a team to work alongside TWELVE to develop an iconic and desirable limited edition tin, which was shortlisted for the Nescafe Competition ()
2016: UCA (Epsom) winner for 'School of communication' design poster.
She was the winner of the 'School of communication' design poster, which was shared with various key stakeholders in the University. Her work received a positive reception Graphic Designers' Vaughan Oliver and Tim Croves, whom are pioneers in the field of Typography ().
