About me

Who am I
My early career was a blend of relentless creativity and intense learning, often facing the scrutiny of teachers with artworks crafted on the now-iconic Macintosh Quadras(TM). This foundation set me on a path to join one of Portugal's most awarded agencies, Z. CDP Europe, marking the beginning of a prolific career.
I've honed my skills as an art director across prestigious international networks like Euro RSCG and DMB&B, and prominent Portuguese agencies such as Nova Publicidade, Abrinício, and MKT/Brandia. In the early 2000s, I joined JWT Lisbon as a Senior Art Director. In the same period, I also nurtured my passion for teaching at Etic Communication School, alongside my love for craft, painting, and illustration.
In 2006, I transitioned to McCann Lisbon as a Senior Art Director, and later on became the agency's Chief Creative Officer. This role was a turning point, allowing me to reshape the oldest international agency in Portugal with a dynamic team, earning numerous accolades from esteemed festivals like The Portuguese Creative Club, One Show, FIAP, Eurobest, The Portuguese Effies, and Cannes.
From February 2019 to the end of 2021, I served as Creative Director at Tux&Gill, driving innovative creative strategies and securing significant Effie Awards, and later on became a freelancer monster. Most recently, from June 2023 to June 2024, I revitalized the small boutique Pine as Pine_ Roots for Brands, transforming it into a small creative powerhouse, with a brand new storytelling.
Above all, I guess I'm proud to be nominated Dad of the Year, every year since 2002. Today, I thrive as a freelance creative, partnering with brands, agencies, and production companies to deliver 360º creative solutions. Writing became my passion.
