About me
I'm an illustrator and comic artist with a strong focus on visual storytelling, character design and worldbuilding. I'm particularly interested in projects where illustration does more than create an attractive image, but where it helps communicate character, atmosphere, narrative and the identity of an entire world.
My work spans comic art, illustration, character design, book covers, visual development and narrative artwork, and I enjoy adapting my approach to different genres and formats. I'm especially drawn to projects involving strong creative worlds, unusual characters and storytelling through imagery.
I have experience developing original comic narratives from concept through storyboarding and visual development to finished artwork, as well as creating illustrations and cover artwork collaboratively with writers and other creatives. I particularly enjoy working collaboratively to develop the visual direction of a project, rather than simply interpreting a finished brief.
My style is bold, graphic and highly stylised, with an interest in distinctive character shapes, expressive design and strong colour palettes. At the same time, I enjoy adapting that visual language to different genres and applications, from comics and books to games and other narrative projects.
I'm always interested in collaborating with writers, game developers, musicians, publishers and other creatives who want to build something visually distinctive and story-driven.
