I am very interested in the POS assistant position you have available. It is absolutely ideal for an enterprising designer in my position who is currently seeking work in an enchanting, creative and marketing environment. I am currently completing a work placement with a lingerie design company. I have completed a Contemporary Textiles Bachelor Honours Degree and also have a background in Fashion. There was very much indeed a business explorative sector on the course which provided me with managerial skills and the confidence with collaborating well within a team as well as working independently. There was also a design marketing module upon the course. I specialise in woven and printed fabric production and have recently been published in the Hand & Lock 2009 Finalists book for my couture Dobby loom woven and hand embellished ribbons and trims which are intended for gift presentation, elite fashion and interiors. I have previously studied a BTEC National Diploma in 3D Design, which also allowed me to strengthen my professional communication skills and awareness of innovative design and current trends. POS design was an integrated sector of the course. I received a Distinction grade in Professional Practice and pioneered with oral presentations and written work. I have previously undertaken managerial activities and secretarial duties whilst working in retail and customer services over the last five years, including engaging in a secretarial position.
I am a highly passionate being who adores the design industry and is looking to broaden her knowledge in marketing. I am one who endeavors to reach personal as well as designated goals. I am very comfortable with public speaking and I have excellent telephone etiquette. I believe that efficient, clear and concise communication is key in any work place.
