Dear Sir/ Madam

I am a Graphic Designer/freelance designer currently based in Worcester, working within digital and print based media. I have a passion for both but do especially enjoy design for print. Since graduating in 2010 I now have over a year and half of studio experience, refining my current skills and gaining new ones.

My most recent role was working as a Desktop Publisher in a fast pace office environment for the training and coaching company,GP Strategies Limited. During my time at GP my responsibilities were to format documents and course materials, produce presentations and print production of final artwork.

I worked to tight deadlines on a daily basis which helped me to develop my own organisational skills for managing the workload and prioritising projects. Working at GP helped me reach a new level of confidence in the workplace sharpened my eye for detail when formatting documents.

Furth more I have been freelancing for further experience, networking with people to generate a steady number or clients who I have and still am producing work for. This work has included business cards and corporate identity design, conceptual artwork, vector illustration and photography shoots.

I have over 6 years experience using Adobe software, which includes Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign with some experience with Quark. Furthermore I have experience using Flash, Dreamweaver and editing software such as Final Cut Pro and Sound Track Pro. I work fluently with both Windows and Mac computers and am a capable Photographer. In my own time I produce my own artwork ranging from t-shirt designs, vector illustrations and logo design.

I'm a friendly person and enjoy meeting new people, never taking long to settle into a new working environment. Working with creative people in a creative environment is what I've trained to be and is all I've wanted to do since leaving high school.
