About me
I graduated with a Bachelor's of Philosophy in Interdisciplinary Studies from Miami University in Oxford, OH in 1993.
Since then I have worked in the field of Developmental Disabilities. First as a volunteer in Gloucestershire England, then as a professional at Ohio Valley Residential Services in Cincinnati, I have enjoyed success due to my willingness to listen to the people I serve and deliver on their expectations. It gives me great pleasure to facilitate the wants and needs of these individuals and engage them in achieving the outcomes they desire.
The best practices of serving clients in Web Design are remarkably similar to my approach to supporting adults with disabilities. Both require empathy, flexibility, creativity and the determination to deliver superior results.
The design portfolio I completed at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online Division demonstrates these qualities.
