About me
Dear Sirs and Madams,
My name is Yuta Komine, who has just finished three-year study for BA Filmmaking at Kingston University London. I am now seeking for a permanent job in a filmmaking and other relevant fields.
In the projects assigned by the course at Kingston University, I have mainly engaged in directing, producing, scriptwriting, art directing, film editing, and sound-designing. Therefore, I am quite confident that I will be able to flexibly take part in multiple jobs and work on my own initiatives or part of a team. As my films always require a great amount of digital compositing and combination of different media (illustration, animation, drawing, etc.), I'm quite familiar with software such as Adobe Premiere, Aftereffects, Audition, Illustrator and Photoshop.
In addition, I have work experiences in a number of industries. I have worked for an art/design brand based in London Satoshi Dáte since May 2014 as a filmmaking assistant. The eponymous artist/designer of the brand Satoshi Date work in different media such as installation, live performance-art, photo montage, etc. I have been engaged in advising him for the projects' concept and narrative development, shooting the materials in photography and video and editing those footages. I also worked for a photocopier manufacturer in Japan Oki Data as an assistant mechanic designer for three years, where I was engaged in designing of the mechanics of new photocopiers and documents such as user's manuals and assembly instructions for new products. Because these tasks always required me to add value to the existing products, I learned how to develop abstract concepts into material forms.
I am a conscientious person who works hard and pays attention to detail. I am enthusiastic about learning more from other fields I have not experienced before. Thus I believe I have a lot to offer to my employer and hope I have sufficiently conveyed my potential for any employment opportunities.
