About me
Ever since I have gained my Diploma in Web Design (Level 3) with the grade of Distinction awarded by the Association of Certified IT Professionals in April 2007, I have been working as a freelance web designer in the spare time off my full-time job and have developed and maintained an ecommerce website for a local trading company and a static website for a charity organisation. I'm also currently developing an e-shop for a local garment and gift printing company and the website for a small shopping centre located in Derbyshire. Apart from these paid works, I've volunteered to develop an online forum for local children and young people, the official website for a local Children's Project as well as the website in memory of a local young people's event.
Even before I was enrolled in the distance learning programme for the Diploma in Web Design in March 2006, I have already started to develop websites as a personal interest. After having gone through the systemic study in all aspects of web design, I have solid understanding and work experience of XHTML, CSS, PHP, MYSQL, Dreamweaver, Javascript, Flash and Photoshop, so that I am very confident that I have all the skills and meet all the criterias required by this post.
Furthermore, having been working for a local charity organisation for the past five years as a project coordinator, my solid work experience on administration and project management will surely add additional value to this post.
