About me

First of all, I am Yu-Ning Tseng also called Nancy who come from Taiwan where is a nice place and have lovely food and people.

I was studying MA in Visual communication design that was training how to searching information correctly and organizations properly. After I graduated, I worked in Woh medical which presents instruments in medical beauty, such as laser, surgical imaging system and so on for hospitals and clinics with the custom advertising of the products for clients such as posters, banners, leaflet, website, advertising for social media, bus, magazine. Moreover, the company would attend several exhibition of medical every year. Hence, my responsibilities are designing these for the clients or exhibition and contact the company to manage whole exhibition by myself. I have strong experienced working on a project by my own. However,I usually worked with marketing departments to discuss how to improve the idea of advertising so I also have fully experience working with a team. My another main responsibility is that I had to organize all the printing work with the printing factory. It made me learn how to communicate with people and improve my knowledge of printing. Although I am always searching for the advertising of the competitors before I do my design to design a better advertising for the product, most of my design ideas are inspired by my life. I believe life is the best inspiration for designer. In addition, I have basic knowledge of HTML and CSS and I did serval web design with WordPress so I was a part time teacher of website for beginners, life research and graphic design. During I was working, I did posters, banners and leaflets for a group of religious and a retailer. In my opinion, it can confirm I am not focusing on only one category of designing. One year ago, I came to London for short term courses in English and Design in UAL. The difference way of education effects me the way I was thinking. For example, I am learning how to explain my ideas and try to inspire from different cultures. Now, I am freelance graphic designer in London, I did rebrand for a coffee shop (logo, menu, sign of shop, website, leaflet) and bread for a school of acting (posters, leaflet and website) (as you can see in my portfolio p17-p24).
