About me
Even though I have no commercial experience, I surely have drive, commitment and a big passion for art and design.
I completed my first diploma in art and graphic design last year and since then I have been trying to get an entry position in the field. In the meantime, I have been enlarging my portfolio with design work for London charities and personal projects.
I would be happy to gain some studio experience as Artworker. I already have a working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign and some basic knowledge of Dreamweaver. I have recently produced a magazine ad for a charity which involved creating a print-ready PDF according to the Pass4press standards.
I can bring additional creative skills that could be of use while working as an Artworker, like more traditional forms of illustration such as collage, mark making and altered book techniques. My work experience to date makes me a very good team player, able to adapt to different environments and to work well under pressure of tight deadlines.
Due to my administration experience I also am highly organized and able to prioritize, a key skill when dealing with different projects at the same time.
