About me
Yihharn Liu is a Master Candidate of yacht design in Politecnico di Milano in Italy. In this course, she did a 60ft sailboat and a 45m powerboat projects under the guidance of renowned yacht designers.Before this master degree, Yihharn was a master of naval architecture at National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan. Her Master Dissertation," The Analytical Comparisons for the Hydrodynamic Characteristics of Trimaran and Catamaran Ships with the Same Displacement" is a comprehensive hydrodynamic analysis of multihull. Besides, during her time in graduate school, Yihharn also cooperated with Navy Command Headquarters to develop a seakeeping evaluation program on military naval ship. Yihharn's aim is to become a creative yacht designer with engineering knowledge and try to combine what she learned to create interesting but practical design in yacht field.
