About me
The passion that I exude in my 3D design and animation stems from an early age. I was always interested in media, design and graphics. After passing my A-Levels I was accepted on to the HND course at the Northern Film School (NFTS) in Leeds. Already having pursued the art of amateur film making, I was delighted to be given the opportunity to use broadcast standard equipment.
My chosen specialist subjects were camera and editing. I learned a lot about film theory and the psychology of perception. After learning Adobe Photoshop & After Effects in a module and already having interests in cgi I took it upon myself to learn 3D modelling and animation outside of the course. I could then incorporate these newer and richer techniques into my film work. I began with a cover disc of cinema 4d 5 and progressed from there, eventually on to various other packages.Since graduating I was invited back to supervise the undergraduates and advise them on certain filming techniques. I decided to do contract work. I branched out and focussed on product visualisations and had regular clients. I relocated to gain more commissions and after four years of working for my self I realise that work is not always around. I have sometimes had to work in other trades whilst simultaneously pursuing this career. I am now seeking permanent employment within the Graphics/3D/Media industries
