Every win is a journey - was the campaign concept for the EE BAFTAS 2020. Tree rings were chosen to symbolise all of the journeys a person takes within a lifetime, with one ring highlighted in gold as a metaphor for their winning year. The original plan was to make prints from real pieces of wood but I ended up illustrating a detailed cross section of a tree. With this illustration I designed a 2 tier invitation, a catalog cover and envelopes. Gold foil and blind embossing gave the assets a bespoke high-end and tactile finish. The graphic elements were incorporated into the catalog, set backgrounds and online assets.
