Our full CG technology film for ASICS Novablast™ 5.Bursting with bounce.

Overloaded with energy. Packed with cushioned comfort. The Novablast™ 5 is part of ASICS’ 2025 Comfort Story, designed to deliver energised bounce without compromising on plush comfort. At the heart of our film is an abstract metaphor, a visual representation of the shoe’s technology, where soft comfort transforms into explosive energy, propelling the runner forward with every step.

The film’s aesthetic uses soft-focus visuals and frosted, cloudy treatments to emphasise the shoe’s holistic comfort. To complement this, we designed an energy field treatment inspired by the shoe’s colours, creating a fluid, vibrant backdrop for titles that mirror the product motion and energy.

We used dynamic motion design to depict pieces of foam exploding upward, as a metaphor for the shoe’s ability to absorb impact and return energy, reinforcing its bouncy, responsive ride.

Sound design was crafted to heighten the sensory experience - combining elements that evoke lightness and softness, while integrating traditional Japanese instruments as a nod to Japonisme and ASICS’ heritage.

This high-impact teaser film was designed to build excitement ahead of the launch.
