About me
Dear Sir/Madam
I have recently completed my Postgraduate Bachelor of Architecture at the University of the West of England in Bristol. I am ready to join an aspiring, exciting organisation, taking on responsibility and commitment to carry out tasks set, at the highest professional level. Six years of education which includes a BA Honours as well as a year's work experience split between two renowned British architectural practices has allowed me to develop and hone a vast set of skills that could dramatically benefit your company.
Studying Architecture I believe has given me a great insight into every aspect of the design umbrella. From graphic design to photography and advertisement, I feel studying architecture has been an education that has exceeded the built environment. The past six years has also allowed me to develop life skills such as communication and cooperation. As a designer I am constantly reinforcing conceptual ideas that have led to a finalised product in a concise understandable manner. Collaborating with colleagues is second nature to me, discussing amongst many people of all nationalities the best route to move forward as a team in a patient, holistic fashion.
My interest in graphic design and advertisement is evident through my work examples and I relish the task of communicating my ideas visually as I truly believe, a picture paints a thousand words. I am a highly motivated individual and believe that to better yourself you must be prepared for a challenge, taking on the unknown. My work ethic is impeccable and I am extremely used to running on strict deadlines under pressure, doing whatever it takes to get the job done.
Do not let my architectural background dismiss the idea that I am unable to carry out tasks you think I may be unfamiliar with. With a broad set of skills and natural determination to succeed, I feel that I could accomplish any assignment put before me.
I have attached my CV and a few examples of my work for your perusal.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you,
Yours Faithfully,
William Stewart
